Now, I'm wondering if I should work on that, or if I should resort to using the marker instead.Įven if the marker is re-used, I will have already saved the highlighted position When de-selecting the polyline by selecting the polyline again, the highlighted vertex disappears.īut, when deselecting all via Ctr-K or Esc, the highlighted vertex persists. We offer two product options: - ActCAD Standard for 2D Drafting Power Users - ActCAD Prime for 2D Drafting, 3D Modeling and BIM (Building Information Modeling) functionality ActCAD can be used for applications across domains Architecture, Engineering.

So, I set out to create an RS_Point entity member within the RS_Polyline class (named highlightedVertex). ActCAD is a 2D & 3D CAD software with functionality of the industry leaders. But then, there is also the problem of re-using the marker before deleting the node. I started out using the relative zero marker to highlight a given node (determined by the mouse-click). I left the simple Del key-press as it as, becauseĪll other graphical entities use it for deleting themselves. Shift + Del could not be implemented because Shift causes a focus into the command edit box.
'Create polyline from existing segments' tool. In fact, you can convert an ordinary set of lines into a polyline using the Polyline is the best course of action, because really they're just a collection of lines Meaning that they're not connected to each other, and not related either. While working on your feature today, I realized that lines are discrete entities, (I tried it on top of an imported image and without an image, no change) Operating System and LibreCAD version info Steps to reproduce or sample fileĭraw lines with one point in the middle (=2 lines or 2 line-segments), try to select the middle point and try to delete it. I am, however, able to move a point around with dragging it, but i fond no intuitive solution for deleting a point. I tried it with "l" and with "pl", its not possible. Blue select-box does nothing, green selects both lines. I'm not able to select one point at all to delete it, everytime a line is selected.

This manual uses screen captures of LibreCAD installed on Linux. Clicking the “LibreCAD” text top of the window will return to the home page. It can be made visible by clicking the “hamburger” icon. At screen resolutions of 800 pixels or less, the navigation menu is hidden. On smaller devices, such as a mobile device, a minimum screen width of 800 pixels is recommended to display to content. Clicking the “LibreCAD” text or icon at the top of the menu will return to the User Manual’s home page. The manual is best viewed with a minimum screen width of about 1100 pixels to display the menu and content in a browser. Thanks to our master developer Rallaz, the Qt4 porting was completed during the development of 2.0.0 series and LibreCAD has become Qt3 free. Porting the rendering engine to Qt4 proved to be a large task, so initially LibreCAD, the 1.0.0 series, still depended on the Qt3 support library. Since QCAD CE was built around the outdated Qt3 library, it had to be ported to Qt4 before additional enhancements. After some discussion within the community and research on existing names, CADuntu was renamed to LibreCAD. The project was known as CADuntu only for a couple of months before the community decided that the name was inappropriate. It began as a project to build CAM capabilities into the community version of QCAD for use with a Mechmate CNC router. The project started around 2010 as a fork of QCAD 2.0.5.0. That means it works with multiple operating systems Windows, Apple and Linux.
